It was here that she embraced the rhythm of Swahili life, raising her four children amidst the labyrinthine streets, bustling markets, and ancient architecture. The spirit of Old Town, with its centuries-old stories and rich traditions, became an integral part of her and her family’s daily life.
Despite her Swiss roots, Monica found her heart firmly anchored in Kenya. Regular visits to her homeland only served to deepen her appreciation for the place she now calls home. Today, Monica resides in the beautiful coastal town of Diani with her second husband, a proud Samburu warrior. His rich cultural heritage and profound knowledge of the region will add a unique dimension to the tours, as he joins Monica in guiding you through the wonders of Mombasa.
